Microsoft have done it this time! Shocking news coming today is that the UK Version of the Xbox 360 Arcade is going up in price! Why? i hear you scream well Joystiq Xbox got hold of a Microsoft representative and told them this: it as an attempt to

offset exchange rate fluctuations and local market conditions, the increase from £130 to £160 is a first for the company, which has never made upward adjustments to the trade price of consoles before. Not only that but with the fact there is no extra Value in the box it is sickening.

 

Now we move onto the ELITE! First the remove the Pro System, Then Increase The price of the Arcade System But Now The ELITE is bundled with LESS stuff than original. No longer do we get the HDMI Cable Or wait for it........ The Standard HD Cable!!!!!! And if we want our Ture 5.1 Surround Sound we now have to pay the little component that originally came free with the ELITE. in brief this is one stupid Move By Microsoft, one i hope they rectify immediatly!
